Here's some fun information about all of us that you probably didn't know. Enjoy!

Mrs. Becker has been at Sunrise since 1980. She has taught Kindergarten, first, and now second grade. She moved here from the east and still misses the four seasons of her home state of Vermont. She has a teenage son and lots of pets. She enjoys outside activities and of course teaching.

Mrs. Hernandez has been teaching for 27 years at Sunrise. Mrs. Hernandez has taught Kindergarten and First Grade at Sunrise. Besides working with children she enjoys collecting antiques, excercizing, reading, working in the yard and raising tortoises. She's looking forward to a great year with the students.

Mrs. Londoño moved to Phoenix from Buffalo, New York and loves Arizona. Sunrise has been an important part of her life ever since. She has two children at Sunrise, served on the PTO board, did her student teaching with Mrs. Long, and worked here as a substitute teacher. For fun, she likes hiking with her family, listening to radio programs, reading and traveling.

Mrs. Long has been teaching at Sunrise for 15 years. She is married and has three children who all went to Sunrise and had Mrs. Becker as their Kindergarten teacher. She has taught Kindergarten and first grade at Sunrise before finding her home in second grade. Mrs. Long loves to travel, read, work in her garden and spend time with her new grandson!
